Caseificio Ghidetti, in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Provolone Valpadana PDO, of which he has been a member since 1979, lands in Australia to participate in the Fine Food 2022 event. ‘Oceania was held in Melbourne, at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Center, from 5 to 8 September.
For Caseificio Ghidetti, represented at this juncture by the area manager Giuseppe Sartori, the event proved to be both a moment of meeting with consolidated Australian customers, but also an interesting opportunity to come into contact with new potential realities.
For the dairy, abroad is an increasingly important value, and the new technologies being developed in the “frozen” field are allowing expansion to more distant markets, obviously including Australia.
Provolone, together with other typical cheeses of the Italian tradition, is one of the leading products of Italian exports in this country, where historically Italian immigrants have remained faithful to the traditions of their country of origin, as well as spreading its use.
During the three days of the fair, the show cooking in collaboration with the Italian chef Luca Ciano, held on 6 and 7 September, attracted the attention of visitors.
